Wandering around, we saw the "Officers Quarters A-H" sign from the photgraphs in the last clue. There, we found the next clue: 9 red and black block pieces. (Symbols on red sides, symbols or letters on black ones.)
Assuming that the letters would spell out the clue, we put the block pieces together with the black pieces on the outside. The red symbols were a guide: all of the symbols of a certain type had to face the same direction. Once this was finished, the outside letters read:
