Hockey History
| How I Got Started in Hockey |
| First there was field hockey, then floor hockey, then I started roller hockey so now I'm on the final fronteir, ice hockey. I feel compelled to complete things full circle. I even enjoy bubble hockey and air hockey. |

| Most Memorable FLASH Hockey Moment |
| I enjoy the roadtrip memories the most, especially the time when we went to Madison in late 1999. The funniest thing about that trip was when Laura said, and I quote, "...those member profiles! I can't do that! That question about who's your favorite NHL player... what's the NHL? I would just vote for that guy who just won the Heisman..." |

| When I
won All-Big 10, All-American and Academic All-Big 10 in college.
That was for field hockey and that was quite some time ago,
so I hope there's more cool stuff to come... In roller hockey, my best memory is when Chicks with Sticks, my team, beat Team Canada for the NARcH national title. |
| Most Embarrassing FLASH Hockey Moment |
| As my teammate Allison won't let me forget, when our coach George was going around hugging everyone after a win in the locker room, I jumped up on him and wrapped my legs around him. At the time I thought it was hilarious, but after being ridiculed time and again, I now feel shame. |
| Most Embarrassing Hockey Moment |
| In college
when I missed the bus to go to play Northwestern, I had to take a flight
out of the rinky dink East Lansing airport and go to O'Hare. There
was some bad weather, which is why my alarm didn't go off at MSU
to make the bus ride, and our plane couldn't land. After circling
Milwaukee for an endless time, we landed. With my uniform on and
my stick in hand, I tried in vain to find my mother who was escorting me
to the field. No such luck. I ended up hitch hiking to the
game and got there just in time to shake hands with Northwestern after
they beat us silly. I now use a battery operated alarm whenever there's
a storm.

| I like to play other kinds of hockey and I like to cook or read cookbooks. And then there's shopping...nothing like shopping for hockey stuff and cooking stuff, nothing quite like it in the world. |
